خلال استقباله نخبة من رواد الرياضة العراقية.. الدكتور العبادي: الرياضة أداة أساسية في صناعة السلم والانفتاح على المجتمع المحلي والدولي
استقبل رئيس ائتلاف النصر الدكتور حيدر العبادي، اليوم الأربعاء، نخبة من الرياضيين ورواد الرياضة وإعلامييها وبحضور ضيوف عرب.
وشهد اللقاء، الذي يأتي ضمن سلسلة لقاءات الدكتور العبادي الأسبوعية مع نخب المجتمع، حضوراً متميزاً من شخصيات رياضية مرموقة، وتناول عدة محاور رئيسية تتعلق بتطوير الرياضة العراقية وسبل دعمها.
وأكد الدكتور العبادي أهمية الرياضة بوصفها وسيلة للتنمية الاجتماعية والشخصية، وأداة أساسية في صناعة السلم والانفتاح على المجتمع المحلي والدولي، وشدد على ضرورة توفير الدعم الكافي للرياضيين في مختلف المجالات.
من جانبهم، شارك الرياضيون تجاربهم وتحدياتهم، وقدموا عرضاً حول جهودهم في تنمية مجالهم والعمل على رفع مستوى الأداء في مختلف الألعاب.
كما طرح الصحفيون المهتمون بالشؤون الرياضية أسئلة حيوية تخص السياسات الرياضية والبرامج التطويرية المستقبلية والدعم المناسب لها.
واختتم الدكتور العبادي اللقاء بتأكيده على أهمية استمرارية مثل هذه اللقاءات لتعزيز التواصل بين مختلف الأطراف في الوسط الرياضي، داعياً إلى تنظيم المزيد من الفعاليات التي تخدم الرياضة وتسهم في رفع مستواها. كما بارك للشعب العراقي فوز المنتخب الوطني على حساب نظيره الفيتنامي في بطولة كأس آسيا المقامة في قطر وتأهله للمرحلة المقبلة من المسابقة.

Dr. Al-Abadi: Sport is an essential tool in creating peace and openness to the local and international community
Today, Wednesday, the head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, received an elite group of athletes, sports pioneers, and media professionals in the presence of Arab guests.
The meeting, which is part of Dr. Al-Abadi’s series of weekly meetings with community elites, witnessed a distinguished presence from prominent sports figures and addressed several main topics related to the development of Iraqi sports and ways to support them.
Dr. Al-Abadi stressed the importance of sport as a mean of social and personal development and an essential tool in creating peace and openness to the local and international community and emphasized the need to provide adequate support to athletes in various fields.
The athletes shared their experiences and challenges and gave a presentation about their efforts to develop their field and work to raise the level of performance in various games.
Journalists interested in sports affairs also asked vital questions regarding sports policies, future development programs, and appropriate support for them.
Dr. Al-Abadi concluded the meeting by stressing the importance of continuing such meetings to enhance communication between various parties in the sports community, calling for organizing more events that serve sports and contribute to raising its level. He also congratulated the Iraqi people on the national team’s victory over Vietnam in the Asian Cup competition held in Qatar and its qualification for the next stage.
